Notarium

Notarium is one knowledge base, equally open to people (web editor, REST) and to AI agents (a built-in MCP endpoint): an agent's edits are versioned, subject to the same access permissions, and carry a record of who made them — exactly like edits from the interface. Notes are stored as plain Markdown files on your own disk, and the base itself is linked and indexed: instead of being handed a wall of text, an agent retrieves the context it needs — through search and the graph. What sets Notarium apart: Markdown as the source of truth, people and agents over a single knowledge base, one-container self-hosting, full-text search with an optional semantic-search layer on top.
